About Seth Meyers:

Seth Meyers is the new host of NBC’s Late Night, the home to A-list celebrity guests, memorable comedy and the best in musical talent. As the Emmy-winning head writer for SNL, Seth has established a reputation for his sharp wit and perfectly timed comedy and has gained fame for his spot-on impersonations, unique characters and hilarious spoofing of topical news.

In 2011, Meyers won the Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics for host Justin Timberlake’s musical monologue. Meyers has also garnered five additional Emmy nominations for his work as a writer on SNL and the 2011 special The Real Women of SNL. Meyers’ most recent assignment as host ofLate Night will keep him under the production leadership of Lorne Michaels who will continue to oversee Saturday Night LiveThe Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and Late Night with Seth Meyers.

As the sole “Weekend Update” anchor, Meyers charmed audiences as he lampooned top news stories and entertained fan favorite guests including the outlandish and uber trendy correspondent “Stefon.” Before focusing his attention solely on “Update,” Meyers was a regular player in sketches, performing numerous characters.

A graduate of Northwestern University, he studied and performed at ImprovOlympic before moving on to the Boom Chicago Theater in Amsterdam, Holland. His acclaimed show “Pick-ups and Hiccups” with partner Jill Benjamin toured Europe and eventually caught the eye of SNL.

Meyers hosted the 2010 and 2011 ESPY Awards on ESPN and headlined the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner to rave reviews.
