Dr. Inouye, Director of ALA’s Office of Info Tech, discusses reasons why libraries need high-capacity broadband access. He is gratified to see support of the President’s ConnectED initiative. He then discusses 2 programs proposed by the ALA: 1) ConnectED and FINAL. If you agree, he urges you to speak out to the FCC in favor of these programs.
