Los Angeles, July 23, 2013 – The Social Impact Media Awards releases their SIMA Film Showcase Catalogue featuring the best feature and short documentaries from the 2013 competition.
The SIMA Film Showcase is designed to maximize impact and exposure of the best 2013 impact-documentaries. Screenings may be booked for a rental fee throughout the year by: international advocacy and film forums, film festivals and conferences, NGOs, community groups, outreach events, cultural and educational institutions.
All screening fees are split with filmmakers and support SIMA’s Grassroots Screening Program that brings social impact films to international humanitarian advocacy events and communities with limited financial or cultural resources.

“SIMA truly scored the planet for stories that need to be told, about problems that need to be solved — and found them!” – Trevor Hall, President of Creative Visions Foundation
“SIMA films stand out in their creative approach to impact storytelling, in their ability to advance the dialogue on human rights and humanitarian development, in their potential to inspire awareness, compassion and social transformation, and to ignite a deeper understanding of how global issues affect the everyday lives of people and societies around the world.” – Daniela Kon, SIMA Executive Director
