Get up to speed in media literacy pedagogy and 21st century educational technology tools – all of which are easily integrated into any instructional context and curriculum!

This training is for all K-12 teachers (including librarians and media specialists), college instructors, teacher education students, community educators, and anyone interested in the field of media literacy.

This 5 -day intensive includes training in:

– critical thinking skills
– how to decode media messages
– how to evaluate credibility of information
– developing an awareness of bias in all media forms
– connections between media literacy and media
   production  skills
– enlivening instruction with meaningful media tools
– how media literacy relates to the Common Core

Our trainers include well-known and highly acclaimed national media literacy leaders  Cyndy Scheibe and Chris Sperry; and our expert media technology trainers include Roger Sevilla and Armin Heurich who have more than 30+ years combined experience in media education.
