Here are a couple database updates:
From ArtStor:
In the past several days, users may have experienced unusually slow response time in the performance of the Digital Library’s functions. This is due to a hardware issue and our Technology team is working to resolve the problem. In the meantime, please communicate to users that the problem is intermittent and a workaround is to download images to work offline in OIV and PowerPoint. From JSTOR:
JSTOR has used responsive design to create implement an interface that now automatically adapts to the screen size of a device. Check out www.jstor.org on your mobile device. Ithaca College library users are able to use JSTOR’s Institution Finder. This tool streamlines remote access by “giving users who have not yet logged in to JSTOR the ability to locate their institution from a list on the JSTOR website, log in to their host institution, and be returned to the page they started on at JSTOR.” JSTOR’s aim is “to smooth authentication for the growing number of end users who are coming directly to JSTOR, from a variety of places such as Google, Google Scholar, and Wikipedia.” To see the Institution Finder in action, visit the Login page, or watch a one-minute video (http://about.jstor.org/video-tutorials).
