Greetings,It’s official –the dates of our annual Making Your Media Conference are Feb. 11-12. Mark your calendars!Our 10th annual Human Rights Film Series brought packed houses for screenings of As We Forgive, Burma VJ, Taking Root: The Vision of Wangari Maathai, New Muslim Cool, and The Reckoning. We hosted visiting filmmakers at each screening, and while they visited with us, we interviewed each of them. Those interviews are a part of our new Pull Focus series. Some of those interviews are available to read now — you’ll find out more below — and some will be available in the coming months.
October also saw the release of the new Code of Best Practices in Fair Use for OpenCourseWare, which we created with Washington College of Law’s Program on Information Justice and Intellectual Property and MIT’s OpenCourseWare. Spread the word!
