Mitrano alerted us of a new posting, “Internet Law & Policy 101: The law of the horse” by Steven J. McDonald, General Counsel, Rhode Island School of Design to the University Computer Policy and Law Program site at Cornell University. The presentation was part of the 2008 EDUCAUSE/Cornell Institute for Computer Policy and Law opening session, 8/11/08.
McDonald considers the question, “Do the revolutionary aspects of the Internet necessitate a whole new body of law or does the existing law provide the framework for application to this new technology?”
