Perhaps of interest to compare US to international law.
And, how about better record keeping? Just read today that, “OCLC pilots WorldCat Copyright Evidence Registry,” OCLC News releases, 8/25/08. I imagine the Stanford Copyright Renewal Database will be incorporated. There is a beta that can be accessed here. Feedback is being collected. Question: will it include the current information from the Electronic Copyright Office, eCO?
