NPR, 6/24/08, “Video game makers push to license Beatles songs.”
Found the NPR report on how game companies want to incorporate Beatles tunes in their products. Would be a wise decision; Ari Shapiro interviewed Edward Woo of Wedbush Morgan Securities to make the case for including Beatles songs — basically, who isn’t a fan?
I know I’ve purchased songs from Across the Universe in ITunes & some of the covers that were on American Idol this year. Personally, I don’t need the collection as I’ve all the CDs. Think it may have had something to do with the Apple trademark dispute.
